I can't say exactly when I started drawing . It seems I've always done so. Although music has been my profession for nearly 40 years, the visual arts have constantly accompanied those activities, including a Fine Art degree from the University of South Africa as well as teaching, seminars and video production in France which has been home for the past 21 years.
The fascination and challenge for me is in creating images using a variety of elements - line, texture and the constrasts of light and colour - whatever the technique involved. At the moment I am swimming in the treacherous currents of water colour painting.
